Tank farm
KIEL 1
The Kiel 1 Tank Farm is located directly at the eastern end of the Kiel Canal at km 96.8 – km 97.23 before the Holtenau Baltic Sea Locks. The tank farm has transhipment facilities for seagoing vessels and barges, road tankers and tank wagons (Discharging of HEL). Road access is via the B76/B503 trunk roads. Approaching from the south, take the last B503 exit before Holtenau bridge and turn left into Schleusenstrasse at the first traffic lights. At the T-junction, turn left again into Uferstrasse.
– Vessel Fuels directly from storage
– Discharge of Heavy Fuel Oil by tank wagon, provision of block trains divided into groups of 2 x 11 tank wagons
– Discharge of Fuel Oil and Diesel Fuel by ship
– Loading of Fuel Oil and Diesel Fuel by tank truck
– Discharge of Bio-Diesel Fuel by tank truck
– Total capacity 32,200 m³
– 1 jetty for seagoing and Inland vessels up 450 m in length with a maximum draught of 8,80 m
Monday – Friday: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and by arrangement
Seagoing Vessel Monday 0 a.m. to Sunday 12 p.m.
Effects of the corona pandemic
The normal opening times apply until further notice,regardless of the individual agreements made with customers.
In the event of a change due to the corona-pandemic, we will adjust the opening hours to reflect the Situation.
